Our team of associates consist of registered, qualified and experienced professionals, who collectively, are diverse in their knowledge experience and expertise, enabling us to provide you with the training, development and support you may need across the various social care sectors.
Kathryn is the company director of Elite123. She is a qualified, HCPC registered Social Worker, consultant and developmental coach.
She has worked in the social care sector for over 25 years encompassing her working experiences and knowledge from all sectors including, elder care, domiciliary care, has been experienced all the roles within fostering and residential children’s care, operations management and has been an Ofsted registered Responsible Individual. Utilising her transferable skills, she is able to provide consultancy and support to the development of services and professional supervision, coaching and mentoring to assist others to develop themselves and within their working remits.
Katie joined the team in 2018 as a consultant specialising in babies and children & families. Katie conducts statutory monitoring and quality assurance visits to Registered Family Assessment Centres.
Katie is a qualified Registered Nurse and Health Visitor and has worked within the NHS and the private sector for over 10 years. Coupled with her nursing career and her parent’s and family’s background in children’s and fostering services, Katie has gained valuable experience from working with individuals and families in traumatic or significant stages of their lives and their children’s development. These experiences encouraged her further to train as a therapist and hypnotherapist, providing her with further skills and insight into to helping parents and their children experiencing issues such as anxiety, phobias and fears.
John is a childcare consultant and trainer for Elite123, with over 30 years’ experience in residential childcare, fostering and early years. He has extensive experience in residential childcare and fostering services, having owned and developed his own successful organisation in the past.
He is passionate about developing others through developmental support, training education, and qualifications of which he has a registered provision.
As a social care consultant and trainer for Elite123, he also conducts Regulation 44 independent visits, and social care business consultancy, using his experience and knowledge as an Ofsted registered Responsible Individual, to support organisations in addressing deficits, raising their standards of care, with the ultimate aim in improving outcomes for children and young people.
Chris has had an extensive career to date, specialising in residential childcare and developing 16 plus independent services.
His skill set is multifaceted, ranging from area management, leadership, staff supervision and development, start-up projects, quality assurance and the devising and implementation of management systems. He has been instrumental in setting up new provisions and their teams from conception through to registration, whilst developing plans and strategies to address deficits alongside creating platforms for development and growth.
Chris is passionate about behaviour management and is also a trained CPI instructor and has many years teaching carers and support workers how to safely manage negative behaviours by delivering de-escalation techniques.
Jason has worked with Elite since 2015 facilitating courses across the South East of England and to all sectors. He is a qualified and approved first aid instructor for both Qualsafe and NUCO. He has many years’ experience and expertise delivering training and his repertoire also includes, paediatric first aid, AED, Health & Safety in the workplace and Fire Safety and Fire Marshall training.
Nick has worked as a consultant and trainer with Elite123 for many years. He is an experienced, qualified Consultant Systemic Psychotherapist and Social Worker. Nick has a vast experience working as a Consultant Psychotherapist and Clinical Lead for therapeutic independent foster care agencies, working both clinically and in the capacity of manager, supervisor and service development. Nick has worked extensively within the NHS and Social Services, with children and family’s teams, CAMHS and youth justice. Nick also continues to work in private practice as a Systemic Psychotherapist working with adults, children and families. An important part of his work includes providing clinical individual and group supervision to foster carers and supporting families experiencing parental alienation.
Shani has over 20 years’ experience of working with and caring for vulnerable adults in residential, primary care and supported living environments.
As a service manager, she has gained a wide knowledge and experience in adult care & teaching environments and through her own dedicated self-development. Shani provides consultancy services to adult care sectors and has developed comprehensive in-depth auditing services and management systems.
Shani works in partnership with organisations to develop their compliance and recording systems, evidencing them meeting regulatory standards. Shani is passionate about promoting a ‘person centred’ approach to care practices and has been commended on her individualised and tailored plans as she adopts ‘person centred’ thinking and approaches to encompass the needs of the clients in how they wish to be supported.
Shani provides pre-inspection audits making sure the organisation is implementing the KLOE’ s ratings characteristics and post inspection support, assisting managers in meeting and implementing the recommendations and requirements with tailored action plans and developmental systems to support staff and service development.
Karen has been part of the team since 2016 and is our accounts manager. She keeps ‘us’ and ‘the books’ in check, managing the accounts, preparing and chasing up invoices. Karen has a wide-ranging background in accountancy including working within the NHS and social services.
Jackie is a qualified, HCPC registered Social Worker who has worked in a range of social work settings including preventative and statutory services; a specialised secure unit for young people; family group conference service and fostering. Jackie has extensive and current experience in the field of fostering and working with children who have suffered trauma. Her background also includes working for a local authority fostering service as a Supervising Social Worker/Senior Practitioner before moving to a specialist therapeutic community in 2015, where she worked as a Senior Practitioner and then promoted to the Registered Manager of the fostering service which formed part of this therapeutic community. This service achieved an ‘Outstanding’ judgement from Ofsted in March 2018. Jackie stepped down from this post in February 2019 to pursue independent consultancy work, training and other interests.
Jackie enjoys supervising, developing and training staff and foster carers, with the clear aim of improving reflective practice and outcomes for children. She believes that training and interventions should be grounded in a sound theoretical and practice based – made accessible, practical and useful to carers and social care/social work professionals.
Tracy is a consultant and trainer who started her career qualifying in early years then went on to foster in North London at the same time qualifying as a BACP registered crisis counsellor working in Ilford. She worked with and supported victims of sexual abuse, the perpetrators of abuse, suicide, domestic and honour based violence.
Within her career Tracy has been a registered manager of a residential children’s home, caring for very challenging young people aged 10 to 18 who were all victims of abuse and sexual exploitation. Tracy moved into the role of head of residential services for children and young people with severe disabilities and short life expectancy for a London charity, both roles included having responsibility and accountability for the provision.
Tracy has also had extensive experience working with young offenders and Sussex police. Utilising her diverse knowledge and experience she has been delivering training and consultancy services as part of her role for many years
